Sculptural Ceramic Bowl with Organic Rim and Blue Glaze

A striking sculptural ceramic bowl with a deeply irregular, coral-like rim and an expressive, hand-built form. Its pale ivory and blue-grey glazes flow across folds, ridges and pitted surfaces, creating an almost geological texture.

Inside, a concentrated area of rich blue glaze contrasts with the softer surrounding tones, while impressed circular patterns add another layer of detail.

With its unusual silhouette and richly worked surface, the bowl makes a compelling standalone sculptural object. An unidentified incised maker's mark appears on the underside.
